Michigan Industrial Hygiene Society MIHS Past-Presidents' Breakfast and Annual Business Meeting 2008 The MIHS Past-President's Breakfast and Annual Business Meeting was held at the Vista Tech Center at Schoolcraft College in Livonia, Michigan on March 25, 2008. There were nine Past Presidents in attendance, and the current President, Jim D'Arcy, as well as 11 other members/board members. AIHA President, Don Hart spoke to the group on the current state of affairs at AIHA, and gave us an advanced announcement of the results of the recent AIHA election, which would be announced later that day. MIHS's own Cindy Ostrowski won the tightly-contested race for AIHA Secretary, so our congratulations to Cindy! Regarding local section membership, Don also pointed out that the 15% discount on AIHA products for AIHA members extends to local section members. Jim D'Arcy presented Don Hart with a Golden Impinger award for lifetime achievement in the field of industrial hygiene. (Thank you to Andy Crause for the pictures.)
